Hitech have not set out to be a “large volume” carrier but rather, to operate at a personal level for a select group of customers. The Hitech Express fleet is therefore quite small in comparison to some of our competitors but is in proportion to the small, select client base we serve. The small, personalised nature of Hitech Express means that all of our operators become familiar with your staff, products, customers’ sites, and specific needs.

Our vehicles are purpose built and fitted with equipment such as dust free pan techs, hydraulic tail-lift platforms, padded rub rails and load locks restraints. The majority of vehicles have “air ride “suspension for reduction of road vibration. Vans are also available for smaller jobs. Trained personnel, who understand the need for careful handling and professional behaviour in front of your customers, man our vehicles. It is mandatory, for all new operators to have a minimum of 5 years proven experience moving large, sensitive products.

Load Restraint

All equipment, packed or unpacked, is secured in pickup/delivery (PUD) and linehaul vehicles, using twist-lock load restraint belts and bars.

Freight Cells

When Hitech Express staff pickup unpacked product which is consigned to interstate locations, it is packed by our staff prior to linehaul. A variety of re-useable freight cells, crates, skids and cages are used for interstate transfer of product, as well as purpose designed and built crates if required.

Pallet Movers and Trolley/ Stair Climbers and Stair Walkers

All vehicles carry Pallet Jack, Flat Barrow, 2 wheel trolley and timbers for building ramps. Hi-Tech Express has a variety of Stair Walkers and Stair Climbers for conveying equipment to upstairs locations. These are arranged by Hitech Express as part of our normal site evaluation process.

Cranes and Forklifts

On some occasions, more difficult sites require the use of additional equipment such as cranes, forklifts and air skates to assist. These are arranged by Hitech Express as part of our normal site evaluation process.
